Norton Juxta Twycross Summer golf

Was held at Patshull Park http://www.patshull-park.co.uk/ on a glorious Sunday 23-August.

As well as the usual individual Stableford competition this year we arranged a Ryder Cup style matchplay competition against a team from the golf course.

Team Norton turned up in matching pink shirts (thanks Simon) to be well and truly trounced; we lost 2 games and were slaughtered in 3 games.

The singles Stableford was won by village debutant Mark Debono with a respectable 38 points.

£80 was raised for the village hall.
