Market Bosworth High School is an 11 - 14 secondary school, set in the rural Leicestershire countryside. Station Rd Back Lane Market Bosworth Phone: 01455 290251 Fax: 01455 292662 Market Bosworth High School web site Market Bosworth High School came into being in 1969 as a comprehensive school catering for boys and girls of all abilities between the ages of 11-14. It marked the reorganisation of secondary education in the Bosworth area. The former Dixie Grammar and Market Bosworth Secondary Modern Schools both ceased to exist. An Upper School, Bosworth College, catering for pupils between the ages of 14 and 18 was established at Desford. Pupils normally transfer at the age of 14 from the High School to Bosworth College. To coincide with the conclusion of a major building programme we gained Community College status in Autumn 1986. The College forms part of educational provision for people of all ages and it is clear that our pupils gain extra benefits from the variety of activities and opportunities offered within the College.
