The gifts of logs/biscuits and chickens to the senior citizens. The village hall carries on and pays for the above village tradition that has happened at Christmas in this village for many years. I feel that traditions should be continued if at all possible especially in the uncertain times that we live in. I know that many people are very grateful and look forward to this gift each year especially for a visit from the delivery boys and girls. Rosamunde, daughter of Glynis and the late John Benn has provided the biscuits again this year as she did last year and we are very grateful to her. Thank you very much Rosamunde. Glynis organises the ordering and delivering of the goodies for which we thank her very much. Martin Greenfield with the help of Headley Benn and Robert Vero deliver the logs, thanks to them and Heather Parsons delivers the chickens, thank you Heather. I know that a couple of people were left off the list this year. One were newcomers to the village and the other a recent big 60 celebrant. It was my fault that your names weren't handed to Glynis for which I apologise, your names are now on the list. Thank you to all of you who supported us during 2011 at our various events and with the 100 club. We hope to see you all at forthcoming events in 2012. Kind Regards and Happy New Year.
