Halloween Fancy Dress Party at the Village Hall

Sunday 31st October - Once again, the Halloween Party was a huge success and everyone that attended had a great time. Many thanks to Sarah Roberts for all her hard work in organising and hosting this extremely enjoyable event.

Bonfire Party

Friday 5th November - A big ‘thank you’ to Ann & Robert Vero and family for allowing us, once again, to use their farm as the venue for the annual bonfire night. It was a great success and raised £512 for village hall funds despite the horrid weather! Very many thanks to everyone who helped on the night.

Handbag Auction

Friday 26th November - Come along and join us for a fun evening with an opportunity to do a little Xmas shopping before and after. Browse the stalls including handmade jewellery, bags, Karen Millen dresses, handmade cards, smellies and other gifts, sample some delicious homemade posh puddings and view the handbag auction lots before the auction begins. For £5 entry you will get a glass of bubbly on arrival, and one free entry into the raffle. Licensed bar also available. For tickets please contact Ann 881040 or Mel 881007

NJT Children’s Christmas Party

Sunday 12th December - Following the success of last year’s first event and with a very kind donation from Norton Victory Fund, all children (under 16’s) are invited to party at the hall on Sunday 12th December from 4-6.30pm. There will be a disco, Xmas games, a visit from Santa, party food and lots of fun!There will be no charge for Norton children but any other child wanting to attend can for the cost of £5.00 per child. If you would like to come to the party or to bring your friends please complete the attached form and drop your reply to Rachel Farrington at Whiston House, Orton Lane, NJT by Monday 6th December (priority will be given to Norton Children).

Cinderella

Thursday 16th December - Everyone knows the story of Cinderella and Prince Charming, well Fairgame Theatre, in association with the Everyman Theatre, present a new take on an old tale. Cinderella and Prince Charming, now older and bankrupt, are touring Village Halls trying to scratch a living with an ancient Karaoke machine…..and so the tale unfolds!Suitable for families and dreamers of all ages!

Ticket prices, £8 Adult, Children £4, Family Tickets available on request, contact Ann on 881040 or Mel on 881007.

 

New Year’s Eve Party

Tickets are now on sale priced at £15 for adults and £5 for children, 8pm start to include a buffet, licensed bar, live entertainment with your host, Dave Jake, a disco and as ever a few surprises!  This year’s theme is “Roaring Twenties” Pearls, feathers and fringes welcome, Flappers & Gangsters encouraged!  Tickets can be obtained from Ann on 881040 and Mel on 881007 Tickets are limited to 120. Each year this is a sell-out event and we do hate to disappoint anyone, so please get your tickets early.

 

Social Evening

Friday 14th January - Relax and enjoy an evening in the company of friends and neighbours, old and new, within walking distance of home. Come down to the Village Hall, 7.30pm onwards and join us for a drink, nibbles and a chat. We would love to hear your thoughts and ideas about what you would like to see in your village hall for the forthcoming year.
