Norton’s Diary at a Glance Village Hall Meeting, Wednesday 3rd February 2010, 8pm -– All welcome. Wednesdays Keep Fit - In Norton Village Hall 7:30pm New Year’s Eve Party – What a fantastic night! Everyone had a great time seeing in the New Year with family and friends and could not believe their eyes when our very own Scottish Piper appeared! Well done Melanie, what an amazing surprise! Many thanks to everyone who helped before, during and after the night, we couldn’t do it without you. Mission Improbable - Return of the Opera Dudes! – Friday 29th January 2010 sees the return of that fabulous duo, the Opera Dudes, with an all new itinerary. Tickets are £9.00 and selling very fast. Please see the attached leaflet for more details and how to get your tickets. Village Social Night – Friday 12th February. Relax and enjoy an evening in the company of friends and neighbours within walking distance of home. Come down to the Village Hall, 7.30pm onwards and join us for a drink (on the house). We had plenty of ideas for events that you wanted to see in your village at our last social evening in November and now all we have to do is put them in the diary, so come and help us choose some dates! Quiz Night – TBA Yes, it’s approaching that time of year when you pit your wits against Norton’s very own Quiz Master extraordinaire, Kevin Moore! Look out for more details in the February newsletter. Annual Village Fete – Saturday 3rd July. It may seem a little early but Summer will soon be here (hopefully!) and time for our annual Fete. If anyone has ideas of what they would like to see or if they can help in any way, please contact Margaret on 880063. **Important News about our Website ** – our website was hacked over the Christmas period. It has now been repaired.Internet advice, if any web site issues a pop-up message advising that “your computer has a virus and you need to run a scan , or download something” IGNORE and CANCEL it and use a reputable anti-virus scan tool.
